Dance the Night Away! Autumn Concert at Stoke Gifford

Saturday 19th October 2024, 7.30pm

Venue: The Village Hall, Stoke Gifford Retirement Village, Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS16 1YF

We’ll be making our 3rd visit to play for you in the heart of this lovely retirement complex. Come and enjoy an evening of big band swing with the Sisters!

We’ll be playing a lively programme of popular vocal and instrumental classics ranging from the 1930s through to the swinging 60s!

Don’t forget your dancing shoes…

Here’s what you need to know:

Doors Open from 7pm and music starts at 7.30pm and will finish at 10pm.

Tickets cost just £5 for village residents and £7 to non-residents and they are on sale NOW.

Celebrating Age Concert at the Bristol Beacon

Wednesday 30th October 2024.

Doors open at 10:30am. Concert starts at 11am.

The Sisters of Swing will be closing the show with a 45 minute set starting at 12 midday.

The Sisters are thrilled to be invited to participate in this Celebrating Age event at the Bristol Beacon.

“Whether you’re 1 or 101, we warmly invite you to come along this half-term to a joyful concert, putting older adults centre stage.

Co-produced by Bristol Beacon, Bristol Drugs Project 50+ Crowd and Age UK , acts from around the community will treat us to a mix of music, movement and spoken word, in a moving celebration of age.

Performers include the energetic big band Sisters of Swing and reggae duo band Artuba, fusing ska, Balkan and Celtic influences!”

Christmas Spectacular Concert: The Sisters of Swing & Sassparella

Saturday 14th December 2024, 7.30pm

Venue: Hanham Community Centre, 118-124 High Street, Hanham, Bristol, BS15 3EJ

Following on from the success of our first Christmas concert at Hanham Community Centre last year we decided to do it all over again! This time it will be bigger and better and we will be joined by Sassparella, the amazing all-female choir based in Bath.

Come and dance the night away and join in with all the festive fun and music!
